The Science of Stress

Stress is a natural response that evolved over millions of years to help our ancestors avoid sticks and get carrots. The problem is that, while in nature these stressful situations resolve fairly quickly, modern life exposes us to mild but chronic stress constantly.

This state of constant agitation takes its toll on our bodies, causing headaches, gland and hormone problems, high blood pressure, indigestion, weight gain, aging and more.
